Mrs. Dowell is entering her second year at The Hope Academy and in her 4th year overall in education. She attended Gordon College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, and later earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Client Services. She is currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Humanities and Employment.

In Spring 2023, she became a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She also serves as the Head Basketball Cheer Coach at LaGrange High School, where she is entering my third season as head coach.

Outside of education and coaching, she enjoys traveling, reading, and arts and crafts. She has visited four of the seven continents, allowing her to explore the world and learn more about history and different cultures. She also enjoys community service and spending quality time with her family.
